The first Murfreesboro chapter was organized on September 5, 1962 in Rutherford County, Tennessee with 18 chapter members in attendance. We are now able to support many works because of the previous members' dedication. Our Service Officer was voted Tennessee Service Officer of the Year for 2009. We are one of only a few chapters that provide a service officer to our local members. We meet the first Thursday of each month and are able to support the local needs of our members. We have a Christmas party and summer picnic. Our members are involved in other service clubs and volunteer their time with many great national organizations.
